Amanda Merski, MSW, LCSW is a clinical therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting the mental health and emotional wellness of adults and older adults (age 60+) in Florida and Pennsylvania. She offers in-person appointments at her office located in New Port Richey, FL, and also provides virtual telehealth services for residents throughout Florida and Pennsylvania. Amanda delivers individualized care based on your personal needs. She is passionate about supporting individuals and their loved ones through individual, couples and family therapy. She also offers group therapy where individuals with similar struggles come together to share strength and heal. For individuals who are managing depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, relationship issues, major life changes (ex: retirement, medical conditions, etc.), caregiver stress, dementia and behavioral changes, or other emotional challenges, Amanda brings a compassionate, trauma-informed, individualized approach to support your journey and partner with you. Throughout her career, she has obtained a robust understanding of aging related challenges and a passion for cultivating meaningful discussions that lead to a sense of purpose and fulfillment. She has served is a variety of roles within the U.S. government working with Veterans for 8 years, bringing a unique understanding of Veteran specific concerns and needs. Amanda is experienced in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Dialectical Behavior, but prefers to use an integrative therapeutic approach to tailor her practice to your individual needs. Amanda is currently accepting new clients and has flexible hours available to meet your needs.
